Maintenance Engineering
The term often confused, relates to repairing components or systems by the remanufacture of broken or damaged components. This general term encompasses many fields, electrical, mechanical and or hydraulic. Systems can either be restored to original, or improved by componentry, design and or fabrication. Simple example of this on vessels, is the steering gear, which wears due to use. This wear can either be repaired by the replacement of the components, or machining and boring the defective parts, fitting bushes and or pins. The latter is the engineering side. This is the same for any industry or equipment and H Solutions is not limited to the marine sector. H Solutions also look after farm equipment, tractors, mobile plant, outdoor power equipment, blast room and blast equipment.
H Solutions is now equipped with a CNC plasma / router which can produce parts from CAD drawings or from samples supplied.
